We have spent some money on two very nice horses the past few years, but they aren't kid ready yet.
So we decided to just get something he can have as his own with no big worries. You can crawl under him, slide off his booty, stand on him and anything else, not much phases old George.
Meet GEORGE..or GEORGY if you ask Coop.
He's a 12 year old pony that is as calm as they come, he's raised 5 kiddos and they've outgrown him so they wanted to let him raise more kids.
Mama is making him learn bareback because that'll help him be a better rider in the long run. He will learn to sit and balance better, without the chance of getting too dependent on Stirrups.
We stopped back home on the way from getting him so he could show the family all things George.
I'll add a video later, a very very funny one of Cooper falling off ol Georgy. George hadn't eaten much all day due to being hauled and moved, and he saw something he wanted and stopped...and there went cooper. But let me tell you its sure easier to watch them fall three feet than 15 hands!
The sweet little girls that passed ol Georgy onto Cooper
I told Cooper to take him some hay when we got home, I told him to figure it out.
This is what he used, and it worked great for short ol george!
Im hopeful that this small excuse for a 'horse' can be a family pet for years to come!
