This kid. He loves the farm. He loves combines and semis and all things harvest. But last night right after prayers he laid his head down and said "I miss daddy. I'm kinda ready for harbest to be done, is dat okay mama dat I say dat?" and I said "ah buddy I kinda am too but you've been a big helper while he's been busy!"
it was a gentle reminder of the importance of time and attention that everyone deserves and needs. So thankful that his daddy works hard and that we get to be a part of it all.
also*i love how he still can't say some of his letters--and I don't dare correct him
