Jesus shows up at a dinner table. Around food. Around people. His people. Evangelism is SO much less complicated than we make it out to be. What if we just met people in their homes. Invited them to ours {or amandas
}. Shared some grub. Some cocktails. And the deepest places of our hearts. What if we didn’t have to make it completely perfect and we didn’t have to be completely put together to do it. Nothing fancy or super organized. Just inviting and letting Jesus do the rest. Life can be complicated and messy but it can also be as sweet as thanksgiving pie. Thankful for the latter tonight as we cleaned up red velvet cake baked with love by a creative little girl. Thankful for the latter as we celebrated a cancer free friend. Thankful for the latter as we enjoyed a turkey and all the random fixing+taco soup. Thankful for the latter as there were wild kids & babies galore everywhere you looked.
