We talked about Horses and what they eat, along with the purpose of saddles and bridles.
We told them all about cattle, ear tags and beef! (And milk too) they got to feed our (big) babies pellets.
They learned about different grains such as wheat and Milo and what we use them for. They thought it was pretty cool that pizza crust comes from the wheat we grow right here!
Goats were brought over to show and tell!
It was a great time had by all! With the help of a few friends it was a total success.
And although they didn't sponsor the event, Farm Bureau was kind enough to donate Kailey books for the all three classes to take home.
