Daddy took the day off today to spend with us. It was a wonderful day together!
We went to Tanganikya Zoo.
Cooper loved the animal interaction but kept mentioning that he wanted his sorting stick. :| we talked about the fact that not all animals get poked like cattle.
It was neat! We met the Lemurs!
And the Tortoise.
Fed the birds. {a little scary at first}
Met some kangaroos.
Even got to see their pouch...
And babies!
We saw lots and lots of animals but the grand finale was the giraffes.
Oh wait-we had two tokens left and used them to ride the camel. Cooper didn't want to ride it alone so Mommy offered to ride. Let's just say Sally the camel was actually Charlie the camel and Charlie stunk!
Then it was off to get haircuts for both boys! Mommy figured it may be easier if he finally saw daddy get his haircut.
And it worked! He let her use the cape and clippers! When she started with the clippers on his neck he giggled the sweetest giggle.
This was just funny to me because it is not at all like Kregg. But he played along.
Aren't they handsome in their matching haircuts?!?
Ate at Buffalo Wild Wings, did some shopping and now we are home relaxing watching the Royals in the World Series.
Best. Saturday. Ever.
