Recently we have heard some negativity about what we post on our blog, and opinions of how we are taking care of Cooper or his safety.
You see, we choose to document our lives on this public blog, somewhat to share with friends and family but also because I can then print the blog into a little album for us to keep and have these wonderful memories forever.
We may not choose to raise our child/children how you do, did or will, and thats okay. We dont even claim to be raising him right or doing everything perfect...in fact we surely fail every day at something with him. But we are trying and he does have our unconditional love and support. Kregg and I take this parenting thing pretty serious and make the big and little decisions together.
So a disclaimer for this blog would be: We are a family- living and learning daily, we support each other and are trying to keep the little things in mind as we consider the bigger picture. We want Cooper to have fun while learning and exploring as a little boy, with the obvious boundaries. You may see our child eat dirt on this blog-and thats okay we still love him. You may see him playing with dogs and they may even lick his face- thats okay we still love him. You may see our child swimming with us with no floaties or life jacket on-and thats okay too, we still love him. He's made it to almost a year under our care, so i'd say things are looking promising for the little guy. We love comments, we really do-but only positive feedback is welcome. The beauty of blogs is that they are something you can easily choose to not read, so if you don't like how we live our lives or raise our child, it is your choice to not read about it.
Raising another human being is hard enough work, we dont need negative comments to make it harder on us.
If you've only supported us in our journey that has just begun then ignore this disclaimer.
