Today was a great day! One of the best days of the summer so far to be truthful.
We went to church, ate lunch w B'manda, took a nap..it was glorious.
Then after our nap we decided to go to Bluff Creek and hang out, best choice of the day!
The boys played football and wrestling in the water a lot, I watched and read a little bit on the bank. There is SO much to be learned at the creek, so many things to see and questions to be asked by 4 year old boys. Turkey tracks, snack paths, 'arrowheads'...its the best.
{I did however make a touchdown past cooper AND kregg in the water w out being tackled by either of them, just saying)
(If you have a boy that you're raising..this books the bomb...James Dobson speaks truth. It says so much and is biblically based, but discusses the way that the feminist generation has hurt our boys so badly by saying we are all the same and theres nothing different, she can he can. How we as parents are to shield our boys from those who are pushing postmodern views. Shield sons and daughters from gender feminism and from those who seek to confuse their sexuality. THEY ARE so different and that should be more than okay, it should be a must. After all, God made us MALE and FEMALE as the divine plan, making two genders beautifully crafted to fit with and meet the needs of the other. I'm halfway done and have written in the margin and underlined so much that its not even funny)
Speaking of Letting Boys Be Boys...look at those feet!
"My advice to you is to go with the flow. Accept your child just the way he is made. Then look for those special qualities that give your boy individuality and potential. Nurture him. Cultivate him. And then give him time to develop into his own unique personality like no other human being on earth"

Full heart tonight, tired minds and bodies.
Goodnight
